Proclamation No. 991 declaring Monday, 24 August 2020, a Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Davao, marks the weeklong celebration of the Kadayawan Festival in the month of August.
To enable the people of the City of Davao to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that 24 August 2020, Monday, be declared a special (non-working) day in celebration of the Araw ng Pasasalamat in relation to the Indigenous People's Day.
