Muslim Legal Holiday in some parts of Mindanao on September 27, 2023 (Presidential Decree No. 1083)

Pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 1083 otherwise known as the Code of Muslim Personal Laws of the Philippines, "Maulidin Nabi" is a recognized Muslim Legal Holiday. It falls on September 27, 2023 (Wednesday) which corresponds to 12-Rabbi-ul Awwal-1445. 

The Muslim holiday shall be officially observed in the provinces of Basilan, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, North Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-tawi, Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur and in the cities of Cotabato, Iligan, Marawi, Pagadian and Zamboanga.

"Aggaw na Naturales Day" is a Special (Non-Working) Day in Santiago City, Isabela on July 25, 2023 (Proclamation No. 286, S. 2023)

"Amun Jadid (Islamic New Year)" is a Muslim Legal Holiday in some parts of the Philippines on July 19, 2023 (Presidential Decree No. 1083)

Regular Holiday Throughout The Country on June 28, 2023 in observance of Eid'l Adha (Proclamation No. 985, S. 2023)

 Proclamation No. 985 declaring Wednesday, 28 June 2023, a regular holiday throughout the Country in observance of Eid'l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

Eid'l Adha or Feast of Sacrifice is one of the two greatest feasts of Islam.

Republic Act No. 9849 provides that Eid'l Adha shall be observed as a regular holiday.
