Proclamation No. 986 declaring the Regular Holidays and Special (Non-Working) Days for the year 2021.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed Proclamation No. 986 on July 30, 2020 and was uploaded in Official Gazette on August 03, 2020 for public dissemination.

Regular holidays:

January 01 – Wednesday – New Year's Day

April 01 - Maundy Thursday

April 02 - Good Friday

April 09 – Friday – Araw ng Kagitingan

May 01 – Saturday – Labor Day

June 12 – Saturday – Independence Day

August 30 – last Monday of August – National Heroes' Day

November 30 – Tuesday – Bonifacio Day

December 25 – Saturday – Christmas Day

December 30 – Thursday – Rizal Day

Special (non-working) days:

February 12 - Friday - Chinese New Year

February 25 – Thursday – EDSA Revolution Anniversary

April 03 – Black Saturday

August 21 – Saturday – Ninoy Aquino Day

November 01 – Monday – All Saints' Day

The proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha shall hereafter be issued after the approximate dates of the Islamic holidays have been determined in accordance with the Islamic calendar (Hijra) or the lunar calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations, whichever is possible or convenient. To this end, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) shall inform the Office of the President of the actual dates on which these holidays shall respectively fall.
