Proclamation No. 774 declaring Friday, 16 August 2019, a Special (Non-Working) Day in the City of Davao, marks the weeklong celebration of the Kadayawan Festival in the month of August.
To enable the people of the City of Davao to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod requested that Friday, 16 August 2019 be declared a special (non-working) day in celebration of the Indigenous People's Day, in relation to the Kadayawan Festival.
